I have received a couple of PMs from you, Anthony, but I know you must have an impossible time getting together even a spare moment, so I call on ALL interested in helping these refugees to please help us in getting information. We have a board dealing strictly with aid to the refugees: ragingbull.com We have an email address where I'll compile a list of people wanting to be kept up with what we're doing: K_refugees@hotmail.com We are setting up a website that should be ready tonight. I know Anthony too is setting up one and they may be mirrors, but that's okay too - just as long as we have a place to send people for as much of the whole picture as possible. We'll link to any other relevant sites, etc. Meanwhile, our primary project is to send Dana Moore (posts as ~Owl) as a volunteer to Skopje. Dana is a graphics artist with skills at all forms of construction and, to a lesser extent, automotive repair. He is able to offer a wide variety of skills and definitely has the heart needed. Some of you may remember that he was the primary person responsible for uniting the shareholders scammed in the MTEI situation. Because of his work, the SEC is now actually appearing to take it seriously. He is a man who gets things done because he CARES about people. We have found a church who will cover Dana's fare and will gather supplies that he can take directly to Skopje. They will also be gathering cash contributions. NOW - I have come to believe that we need a second volunteer. Dana has a lot of experience in many fields, but he has not traveled greatly and could use someone who has -- someone strong and energetic. I don't at this point know if we can come up with enough funding to pay the fare for the second person or not. I'll find out. Yes, I KNOW we are being told that no volunteers are being accepted. BALONEY. You just GO. We also know that volunteers are NEEDED, but what is NOT needed is journalists and curiosity seekers just eating up the scarce food. Does anyone know of anyone? At this point, our focus on supplies to carry in is on getting space blankets, 2-ounce foil-like water repellent blankets. ANTHONY - Is this a good target? Let us know what else. Can you tell us the best airline and route. Again, we have the funds to send Dana and several bags of supplies, but we are only a handful of people and we need help in gathering information terribly. We WILL send Dana to take aid and comfort to these people. But we want to do it in the most productive way possible. Somewhere out there, there must be another couple of Anthonys?
