I am directing my point not at the majority of SI readers since I believe they may have a good understanding of risk, but towards the average investor like the college students who are investing their tuition since they think this market can only go up and the many who recently left their jobs and who have not experience in trading the downside.

Donald,

you obviously do not read too many other SI threads and are giving most of us here too much credit. Try reading some of posts on DELL, AOL, CSCO or any of the threads for that matter. It is not that they are bullish or bearish, it is more like no one has any methodology, just blindly following the crowd in whatever direction in random.

I was rather disturbed after watching the weekend CNBC segment earlier. They had the winners of the kids investment tournament. The schools are teaching the kids how to be gamblers and they are glorifying these kids as if there is some major accomplishment involved. The winners were all internet related. If you are giving a 3 months horizon, what type of investor are you?

Not only are we having to deal with today's get rich quick dreamers, they are already breeding the next generation.
