Questrrr, you may not realize this - but we know EXACTLY what longs are involved in raising the price of this stock. Most of us are there, at their sides, when these stocks are being hyped... watching silently as these so called gurus ( and TJ was not the only one last week... there were actually several)are leading their sheep . All it takes is a scanner, showing which stocks have risen > 25% and the herd is off and running. These longs do not care if the net stock is selling chocolate bears or bat guano... they are looking to scalp 1/2 point.... 2 points if they are lucky. They are just hoping they can scalp their new finds before any negative press starts to pour out....and when it does, those trading from platforms will be out without too much damage, and the newbie daytraders , or worse <horrors> INVESTORS, like yourself, will be left "holding the bag" , as they say.

just one more thing - since you still don't seem to get it. Someone just posted one of Jetups replies - this should alert you that you have attracted shorts who usually can't agree on anything . This stock , however, is sending out alert, alert , alert signals to every person who has every been on the short side in their life. ALL the warning signs are here. I'm not going to put the formula down here , because that would make it too easy ... but this stock is a guaranteed under $5 in 6 months stock.

"Might the stock price fall? Maybe a little bit...so go ahead and make your little 1 or 2 point trade"

Oh no... now you've gone and attracted ALL the shorts...you've got the day trading shorts PLUS you've got some of us who are going to go for the more than 10 points... especially knowing the knowledge level of most of the daytrading longs on this one !!

<<Leon Black's $75 million investment speaks infinitely more than any little arcane...ooh look at this in their filing...>>

Are you serious? "Arcane?" Do you have a clue? Are you actually belittling reading publicly filed SEC documents in favor of a scant understanding of a PROPOSED $75 M investment by Apollo Group? A deal about which you know virtually nothing since the terms haven't been finalized or disclosed?

<<I know this doesn't fit in with all of your conspiracy theories....>>

Point to one conspiracy theory proposed- what on Earth are you talking about?

<<... oooh Leon is going to steal the company with floorless convertibles, etc.>>

No one on this thread has proposed this- show me one post that has- anyone who thought this doesn't have a clue. The convertible was arranged with another group. Wake up. Pay attention. Don't make crap up.

<< Do you even comprehend what goes into negotiating a deal of this size, almost 1/10th of a Billion dollars? Do you think Leon is investing his investors' hard earn [sic] money into a company in the hopes that it will go to ZERO, so that he may steal it from everyone.>>

These deals typically have all sorts of "out" clauses and contingencies that either limit or eliminate any serious risk to the investor- again, you have no clue what Apollo's (not Leon's, drop the silly name dropping) obligations are here because THEY HAVEN'T BEEN DISCLOSED in detail.

<<And concerning the insider sells, the stock they received in RRRR was the currency they got paid in, and so they sold a few shares to raise some cash, as typically occurs in deals like this? So WHAT?>>

Look at the day they filed, 4/15/99, remarkable, hunh? The filings were for over a $ million. They received "the currency they got paid in"? Do you know anything about the filers or are you just making crap up again?

<<What is your point in all this...to snag a one point gain?>>

When facts fail, go for the man. Love the fallacy of irrelevance.

<<But don't try to tell all the longs out there that you know more than Leon Black did going in, with his substantial investment!>>

I never did, don't be a twit. And you know virtually NOTHING about "his" investment but for a few sentences from a hype press release, if that. You have mention of a LOI, that's it.

<<If the company was so desperate and in a weakened negotiating position, shouldn't he have been able to purchase the entire company for $75 million, not 25%.>>

I pointed out multiple facts that provide excellent evidence for the claim the company was financially "troubled". You in response but rhetorically asked whether Apollo shouldn't have bought the company for $75M- well, maybe Apollo didn't want it- we simply don't know until we see the deal.

<<Wake up fluffy man!!!!!! >>

Ohhhhh, help, help! Give me some water! He smote me!
