Rude--- I have no means of verifying DELLs service business. CPQ has most of the systems at my organization. We are loaded with Digital desktops and a mix of laptops. The "break-fix" of both companies mentioned should have been seperated in my response but I am glad it was not as much was learned from your reply,,, especially about EDS.
The break-fix of both have had techs at our facilities.

Rudedog,

Much of what Compaq Services does is break fix. In fact CPQ has promoted this service to resellers nationwide, giving them the option to resell Compaq services, if they don't have the capabilities themselves. This is called Carepaq, its "shrink-wrapped" break fix services.
