To me this is mind boggling and I would like to congratulate everyone

Yeah, we are all wearing purple robes, and you are allowed to kiss Uncle Frank's "big ring"! :0)

I just read a rundown of all the Broker's recommendation's on Dell, and every one of them if rating it as a "number one buy". Then I noticed that T2, the number one "softy" Bull, had just bought some.

What am I missing guys? I can see buying it as a speculation if you think the "mo-mo" people are going to run it up to earnings, but I don't see me getting a "10 bagger" out of it like I did the last few years. It's split adjusted high is about 55, it is at about 42, 23% down, and I feel that it is adjusting for it's new earnings, which are never going to be the kind of numbers that we saw two years ago.

It is, and I think, will continue to be, a well run, good profit company that you can make money on. But, when you look at the choices we have in the "G&K" portfolio, I would not put it in my "top ten" to buy.

It's a "boxmaker", people! It will continue to be the best profit boxmaker, because it owns the direct sales business in this field, but the salad days are over for these companies. The "free PC" marketing ploy is going to rival the "free cell phone" business.

I know that the retail PC business is only 10% of the total, but the handwriting is on the wall, IMO. The MIS managers know they don't need any more power for the bulk of their PC's, and Dell is going to have to sell them cheaper machines at lower margins.

OK, "Dellheads", give me hell about this, and show me the error of my ways!

Well then pat yourself on the back too, William. You've been a part of the collective mind through the selection process. This is a good weekend to feel good about what we've accomplished, but who knows how we'll feel on Monday?
