Jim,

Thanks. You are correct. I laugh. The rich! I used to be Jackie O's neighbor. True. But today, I do not have a pot to pee in. Lost it many years ago like a stupenagel. WE, GATA, can NEVER be accused of being the RICH. We have a newspaper editor ( they make no money ) a gold money manager ( how bad is that ) and me who is looking for a place to live because my winter rental runs out May 15. Goodbye Ocean.

It is pathetic the way the gold short press releases say: 1. for the poor and 2. the sales will not disrupt the market. These are always in every release and it is blatant barf.

The Joint Economic Committee Staff Director has already told me that the gold sale proponents have a flawed opinion. All they have to do is lower interest rates if they are truly concerned about the poor.
I worked all day on a letter that will be sent to Chairman Jim Saxton and will publish it here if I think it is appropriate after my meeting with him on Tuesday.
