This may explain the very strange price action on Friday.

A reason for that might've been an interview with P. Kight.

That was a very positive interview with just one negative moment.
...Kight was asked about Y2K issues. On that topic he stated that CKFR's expects a slow down in signing new billers in the latter half ofthis year due to Y2K. He expects a major ramp up in the e-bill industry in 2000...

Don't get me wrong. I don't blame Pete and it would've been plian stupid not to mention Y2K factor.
Just one detail. He didn't say slow down in signing new subscribers. It was about new billers. Consider how many of existing billers and banks will start rumping up EBPP starting this summer, top it up with Yahoo and the picture gets pretty rosy.
