I'll take the other side on Netcom. Worst service ever. Fortunately, they were bought by Mindspring, which I had already switched to. Great service there. Not international though, I don't think. IBM's service has always gotten high marks in reviews. MCI/WCOM/UUnet is now making a push into retail accounts--you might check there.

I have a crazy question. A friend of mine heard second hand that qcom was going to get screwed out of a deal involving Microsoft and Go America. It had something to do with Chipsets in automobiles or some type of voice messaging or data transmission. Does anybody know what on earth he is talking about? He said Microsoft was suposed to do this
deal with the Q, but instead was going to do it with GO AMERICA. Any ideas out there?
