But more generally, I'm curious about what daytraders do on weekends to prepare for Monday morning.
Look at charts, charts, and more charts....
Normally I look at around 100-150 charts using Metastock every night. I have already drawn on trend lines, support/resistance levels, patterns, quarter report dates/earning, notes, etc. so it is easy to flip through them fast and find out which ones are likely to move in the next couple of days.
I thought I would post the stocks I follow on a regular basis. You will notice that there are no oil stocks on the list...for some reason I don't like playing the oil sector. Please feel free to add your favorite day trading stocks to the list.

Portfolio-2 (Mixed, Natural Res.) A, ATA, BRA, CN.B, CNR, CP, CLT, DHC.A, DMX, DXX, HBC, HUM, L, MAL, NF, NLC, SCC, SPI, STE.A, TIW

Portfolio-5 Every night I do scans to find movers and shakers. Usually this portfolio changes constantly and consists of 30-50 stocks
Portfolio-6...these are a group of around 100 pennies stocks. I usually don't chart these daily since some of them are very low volume. Most of these have fundamentals and I am just waiting patiently for the start of a move or the right news. Normally I just watch them on my CSW portfolio daily.
