Tony,

No, not cheap by any means. I'm going to do it, however.

CSCO is even pricier than EMC and I'm happy to take some profits. I am keeping the vast majority of my shares of CSCO (makes it sound like I own more than I do).

I bought in back in the spring of '97. I did not in any way anticipate that CSCO would appreciate as rapidly as it has. I do believe that CSCO is not due for any great depreciation in price, but that the upside could be limited for some time. It has been consolidating between 90-120 for months and I think it would take a serious correction in the market as a whole (a real possibility, no doubt) to send CSCO below 90$/share. At the same time, it's hard for me to see CSCO growing faster than EMC in the long term, just based on current valuation. Of course, as I've already said, I could not imagine CSCO reaching it's current price this quickly two years ago.

So, I'm choosing this time to reallocate some capital. Time will tell if it was the right decision.

Thanks for your comments,

Chris
