Is it feasable for Bid.com to get a worldwide Patent on Dutch Auction Technology? I know that a lot of big Business Men in Asia and Europe were considering having an online site where all goods would be displaced for traders to bid on from different continents for export or import. If Bid.com even gets a European Patent, they are in for a hell of a lot of business from such industrial, wholesale, import-export trade. Europe is already a place of such high traffic trade. Everyone from the Far East to the Middle East and all of Africa trades through many European cities. Such an online conference place where a preliminary look can be had of a product one is interested in can be very popular very fast. I know because I know many people who do such trades between several Asian countries to Europe. I also can say with certainty that these people love technology and if they can see the goods online before going down in person, they would do it.
Then ofcourse there is also North America. So much trade of this kind takes place already across continents. I am talking not of corporate America, but more those private retailers and Lower Middle Tier companies that buy goods from Europe, Africa, and Asia. Much of this stuff is sold through the Dutch Auction process. This is still just one aspect of potential business. That is B2B, there is also B2Consumer and Cusomer2Customer. The prospects are enormous and I am sure that the next few months will show just that. This company will grow to have an impressive WorldWide presence.
