Depth by order..which lists the brokerages. "Depth by order" is limited to member brokers. Some people on this thread have it, and they don't know how they got it...

Canada StockWatch delivers "depth by order" (10 orders deep) for the ASE (only), perhaps that's why there is the perception that some people have it and others don't, it depends on whether you subscribe to market depth for ASE or not.

Broker numbers are constant through out Canada ...

Not entirely correct, take for example my own discount broker (Investorline) Nesbitt -- they are broker 009 on the MSE, TSE, and ASE but they are broker 012 on the VSE. Meanwhile, my full service brokerage, Global Securities, is house 031 on the ASE but 054 on the TSE. Most broker numbers are the same on most exchanges, but there are a few variances. For those who don't have access to Canada StockWatch, broker numbers for the VSE can also be found here ...

vse.ca

also, a list of TSE member firms (but NOT including their brokerage numbers) can be found here ...

and a list of ASE member firms (some with their broker numbers listed) can be found here ...
