More wireless internet in May Red Herring. In short Rotomola and Cisco's (as well as Nortel and Bay's) move into frameworks for wireless networks were seen as responses to Q! and softy's JV Wireless Knowledge. It says the biggest obstacle is that no one has suggested a realistic, economical application for the technology. The Outlook application mentioned in Wired is a start.

P.S. OT. If ericy does buy 3Com I'll sure be glad that the Giant's are moving from the 3COM 'stick to Pac Bell Park next year, even though Pac Bell is TDMA. I couldn't stomach playing in an ericy named park, at least until they beef up their cdma sales..........
