Of course, despite all the negative stuff. Canadians are probably our greatest friends in the world.

I've lived all over the world - but have spent about half my life in Canada - what people fail to realise is that the cultures of Canada and the States evolved in parallel - so to talk of Canada being 'americanised' misses the point - Canadians and Americans are all (north) americans in the continental sense, and share many of the same attitudes. But there are important differences which Canadians cherish and will maintain - in spite of polls with speculative questions.
