No argument with that, our argument has only been with those that make the
GA IPO being the be all and end all of why they are investing in ASTN at this time--that statement by ASTN makes me believe that it is very, very likely they intend to IPO GA---but S-1s can be quite time consuming to get done and it could possibly be months yet before the
S-1 is announced--the key to ASTN at this moment is what we hope to materialize in JULY with the launching of VWAP--and also the several other irons in fire--my statement on Yahoo! was to say that GA should be seen as the marvelous icing on the cake, but the cake is ASTN IF these
years of development with their trading technologies finally come of age and start to be a money maker.Good Luck,Max

It's common to tease investors with IPO talk

most people who have purchased private
placement shares will tell you they are
often told the company will ultimately
IPO so they can really cash in on their
investment. exploring an IPO is simply
gomez.com's way of keeping the recent
round of investors content. I am in
several private placement deals that do
two or three rounds of private placement
fund raising before they are viable
enough to actually press for an IPO.

I don't expect ASTN to IPO gomez any
time soon since they don't have to
cash in on that partnership while so
many customers lining up to their new
service this summer. We know from the
past that ASTN had to sell one of their
cash flow properties in order to survive.
I doubt they will need to do it again,
this close to it's service launch.

Anyone who touts the gomez property
as a reason to buy ASTN is missing
the point. I just got off of playing
TRAC and they also were to benefit
from IPO'ing edgar.com, but that did
not prevent me from taking profits
when the real reason I bought that
stock came to fruitian, when they
opened their discount brokerage.

I am playing this stock at least
thru the opening of Ashtons new
trading system. Then I'll hold
half thru year end to see if I
profit even more from projected
growth rate. Is the gomez.com
IPO anywhere in my event calander
for playing ASTN? Not at all...
