You are right, of course. Between the biller, bank and portal rollouts and the accelerated schedule to meet Y2K compliance; management attention has to be focused on execution for the next 12 months.

After that strategic initiatives can again become a consideration.

I don't think CheckFree should buy anymore companies for at least another 12 months.

And exchange rate between CKFR and CYCH shares will be much better for CKFR 12 month from now. <G>

The other day I was in a meeting with the Chief Technology Officer of a Chicago consulting company that has done alot of work with Edify and CheckFree. I asked him about CheckFree and his comment was that they were 'way too busy', and thought that CheckFree was having trouble hiring good systems people to keep up with all the new business.
