Hope you don't mind me jumping in here....I have been reading the discussion here on web shopping vs brick and mortar and want to relate something I ran across this week-end (purely anecdotal)....I became concerned about the CIH virus and felt I needed to upgrade my anti-virus (several years old)....For reasons unimportant here, I decided to get Norton Systemworks 2.0....so, being a child of the times, I went to the Semantec site and found out it was $69.95 plus $9.95 S&H....so I called the local (20 miles away) Office Depot and they had it for the same price....I also needed fax paper and inkjet refill....while there, I decided to replace my home office executive chair (the one I had should have been buried a long time ago!) .....spent just shy of $300 and got it all the same day....I don't think bricks and mortar will go away, but the internet surely will take some of the easy money away...
