O.K., sports fans. Here is the latest. Last weekend I got picked up by a Houston area over 55 team to play in the senior world series qualifier at the Baytown sports complex. They needed an extra player. 300 ft. fences and some off brand 47 cor ball. The bottom line is I went 19 for 27 and jacked 5. I hit 3 hrs in one game against the Pensacola 55 and over team. A couple of my shots went 350. I can't recall when I have swung better. Hey, like a friend of mine used to say,"It ain't braggin' if you can do it." Truthfully, I am quite thankful that at my age(57) I am healthy enough to just go out and play, much less have a weekend like that.
