So those are the little bastards I just spent the last hour on. Epiplural bones. Everything else comes out pretty easy, those I have to kinda bend the filets back and forth and brush my fingertips over the flesh, feeling for them, and pulling them out. Is there an easier way?

I always scale them, the scales can come off and get into the food, they don't taste good. Scaling trout is easy, just use a vegetable peeler under running water, they come right off.

Oven won't light, I mean the dial won't even turn. I have a huge sirloin tip I was gonna roast, and a roaster chicken to try Karma's recipe. Guess we'll have boiled beef and chicken soup.
