Well said, Joan. Successful creatures adapt to an ever-changing world, and boy, is the world a-changin' fast!

Joana, Blue, and other techride friends,
Just checking back in after my trip to Littleton. Not sure how appropriate it would be to speak of the events that occurred there on the day of the massacre, or the days hence, as I understand that many here might feel the thread is for stock talk and light subjects. Please just allow me to say this:
Blue mentioned that it snowed on Thursday and Friday, and he was right. It snowed HEAVILY. From what my Sister and Brother-in-Law said, it was unusual to have such a snow in the lowlands (Littleton/Denver), especially since it had been quite a dry year. To me, the snow was a sign. In light of the events that occurred there, the snow seemed to be a "cleansing" act of God. I know, this might sound goofy, and maybe you had to be there, but I couldn't drop the analogy. He covered the town with a spring snow that lasted two days, and on the third, the sun appeared and melted most of what was deposited. It was clear to me what the Almighty was doing. The "sign" was that God can clean-up any mess. That's how I saw it. For those of you that sent your prayers to my family, a special thank you.
If any of my techride pals out there have any questions or comments about what my relatives experienced out there on the day, or what any of us experienced in the ensuing days, feel free to PM me.

I was away from the market on Thurs. and Fri., and it appears a lot happened. I came back tonight to see almost a hundred new messages, and enjoyed reading each and every one of them. Blue, you crack me up with your views on CNBC and Mark! I really like hearing from Jed too! Joana, even without the decoder ring, you bring so much "market smarts" here that I have to ensure I never miss one of your messages. Susan and Carolyn, I'm happy you're here and enjoy your contributions immensly. Mooooooooooons...pops in at the most opportune times with excellent posts. And Josef is always one to bring a smile to my face. To the "new arrivals", thanks for your questions, as often these are the same questions I have. The techride crowd is great, and I feel very fortunate to be here. Thanks to all of you.
909's,
-Joe
