hal.... your guesses are better than good, and i imagine you're absolutely right. and right on both counts: there will be a cache in this newfangled streamin' stuff for some time to come, and no doubt enough enthusiasm to forgive the less than sterling quality for a while. notwithstanding inherent limitations, the acceleration has begun... as ed said: it ain't the broadband, it's the software. and when dave gardy [not so] obliquely referred to broadcastcom's purchase of yahoo as "changing everything", we have to realize content will be in demand far sooner than anyone had imagined... warts and all.
