Hi Foad. Looks like your Alexa is now part of Amazon. Millionaires are us, thanks to the internet!!! I downloaded three more files and I am getting anywhere between ~500 Kbits/sec to ~2 Mbits/sec. Not all servers are made the same and the internet traffic varies. >>>>BTW, do you get your own IP address with ATHM or is it assigned dynamically? Also is there a login procedure or is the connection always active? I think they use a DHCP server that dynamically assigns IP addr. based on my cable modem's DNS entry. Clint
