Thanks Mike, Nice article. There are several points in it I really like: If I am not mistaken first quarter PC sales are generally the worst yet the article says: "SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Worldwide shipments of personal computers rose a better-than-expected 17 to 19 percent in the first quarter, fueled by a recovery in Asia and unexpected strength in the consumer market, according to two leading research firms. According to International Data Corp., worldwide unit shipments rose 19 percent in the first quarter, with the United States leading the way with a stunning 24 percent unit growth." Since Asia is JUST starting to turn the corner as far as their economies go I think it is safe to say this area will have better growth over the next few quarters. This is also an area where Michael Dell has repeatedly said he was concentrating his efforts. The article goes on to say that DELL increased their MARKET SHARE over 25% Not bad at all.: "Dell, according to IDC, had 10 percent of the world PC market, with 2.4 million units shipped, up from a 7.8 percent share of the market a year ago. Dell's unit growth climbed 52 percent versus the year-ago period, IDC said." I think DELL is a screaming buy here. I don't mean because they are a great company and will do well over the course of the year, I mean I think they are severely undervalued at present and I look for a large percentage appreciation in the share price in the very very near future based on the #'s in that article and other growing areas in the company . I think we will see DELL at 55-60 by the end of may at the latest. JMHO, MarkC.
