<Thought Eisinger was providing information on what was being said, rather than affirming a belief in any particular side of the issue.>

My point was that these people call whoever they can get a comment from just to print something. People in the know don't go telling people what they think is going on (for example if Ivan Boesky's broker commented the day he was buying a million shares of stock that would be the last order that broker got), but these news services call trading desks and trading floors and print whatever they hear.

My second point is that my scepticism of this type of "news" as well as my lack of respect for a Philly Options floor trader is confirmed by the fact that I trade CNTO on a daily basis and have a large positions in the options... the Philly trader is sadly mistaken... these options imply no such thing, and in fact are cheap (that said the stock certainly implies someone thinks they know something).

As a bit of history, I worked at a European investment bank and had Reuters calling me all the time for whatever commentary I would give them... these people will print whatever they can. The street.com is especially hard pressed to come up with "news"... they have no "reporters on the street" so to speak so many of their pieces I have read take the spin from whoever they happen to get to talk to them. So they seem to end up talking to whoever has "an axe".
