>>To make money in any business, you have to make it where you can.<<

1. we'll see if mu makes money this q.
2. when the money is to made from the crumbs off the table, what does that say about this business (not any business, this business)?

i've always said that mu was light years ahead of txn. if you ever got a different perception then check deep inside b/c it didn't come from me.

let's get a few things straight.

1. mu is a very competitive company. they aren't the low cost producer, imho. however, they were close. maybe they are close now, but i understand the asians are whoopin' their butt on yields and a 10% decline in bit growth after acquiring txn is a DISASTER! so, recently they have barely been competitive. that may change.

2. mu's management is full of sh*t, imho. mu investors want to be lied to.

3. the industry they are in is H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E.

that is my scenario for disaster here and that is why i've been so right on fundamentals. i've been bearish for a couple years b/c bullish on fundies HAS NOT BEEN the place to be.

oh, and mu's investors will believe anything ;-)

ps - making money off the scraps is a little good thing in a bad environment. i'd MUCH rather see little bad things in a good environment.
