I was surfing the net, by one of those peculiar coincidences that have little to do with the actual search, came across this article by Ken Kesey about the high school shooting in Springfield, Oregon. I had forgotten that this was in Oregon, so Gaugie's reaction to the shooting in Colorado comes into better focus.

Kesey says, if you can't ban guns, why not ban bullets?

But, it's a long piece, and Kesey always has a lot of interesting things to say, I'd be interested in your reaction.

A little surprised that you just started listening to Stones lyrics, maybe it's a chick thing, I could sing pretty much every Stones song up until the most recent, not just them, of course, pretty much everyone I liked. The darkest, I think, is Midnight Rambler - - put my knife right down your throat, baby, and it hurts . . . .

Then there's the one about she was practiced at the art of deception, I could tell by her bloodstained hands . . . .That's You Can't Always Get What You Want.

Well, hell, Lather, didn't the Stones come out with His Satanic Majesty's Request to mock the saccharine Magical Mystery Tour? The Dark Side, with style.
