David:

Thank you for the linkages. A few comments:

(1) personal bias: I do not like BB stocks
(2)personal bias: I do not like companies that spend most of their resource telling you about the potential of their industry/country, rather than what they are doing in it themselves.

Having said which:

(a) IMOT looks to me the more interesting because what it has identified is something for which there is huge value - creating linkages between buyers/sourcers of Chinese products and their manufacturers. This is a huge problem because of the size and complexity of China, and because of language, and results in "middle-men" obtaining huge profits in dealing in such products on behalf of end-users, or sellers. If it is true (on which I cannot comment)then such a business plan would be of immense importance, not only to the customers, and presumably the shareholders in IMOT, but also to China and to end-users. However, it is much easier said than done; there is nothing on the sites I have visited which backs up their claims to capacity in this regard. It would, however, certainly be worth further investigation.

(b) XNET: (i) during the time in which the number of internet users in China went from one to two million (true, and much-touted by them and generally), their account holders went from 15,000 to 20,000. In other word 0.5% of the increase;
(ii) there must be something they're not telling us about how they are organised in China, since a foreign company could not legally do what they are claiming to do. They must have a joint venture or some other arrangement. Legal and financial aspects of this are not explained or revealed
(iii) if you follow the links to their accounts, you will see that they do not present them in full - only a couple of lines of each. Presumably the full ones are searchable on Edgar; however, one wonders why they have chosen this rather strange presentation method.

I hope this is of use

All my own opinion, and not constituting any form of advice. I suggest much more DD before investing in either of these stocks.
