I didn't buy COMS because of takeover rumors I bought because it is a very valuable (though a little screwed up) company which is very undervalued. But I did notice the rumors and that added a nice upside potential to the pot. - I never buy any company solely on takeover rumors. Too may things can happen to queer the deal. Actually I did once because some inside info I got turned out to be true. But somestimes even inside inf is wrong. This time, however, i see it happening. Expect ERICY vs. NOKIA vs. SIEMENS vs. who else? Intel? Lucent? IBM? We'll soon find out. Also my parents broker at Paine Webber was most enthusiastic about COMS and conservative brokers him like rarely recommend out of favor stocks.
