Thursday, April 22, "BCSC rescinds cease trade order."

Dave, thanks for update.

I gave out the link to get this type of information,
and I myself did not check out the link to see if anything new was listed.

MONGOLIA GOLD RESOURCES LTD. ("MGR") - Insider Reinstated for Trading
(Advanced Company) Further to the V.S.E. Notice dated April 7, 1999,
Edward Gunnar Kennedy has filed the required information with the B.C.
Securities Commission. Effective April 26, 1999, the Cease Trade Order
dated April 6, 1999 against Edward Gunnar Kennedy no longer in effect.

Also, for those like me on this thread that are not involved in mining
and gold issues, I found this on the Jay Taylor Web Site.

GEORGE MILLING-STANLEY - WORLD GOLD COUNCIL
... a luncheon in New York, sponsored by the Society of
the American Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers, Inc.
...speaker at the luncheon, namely George Milling-Stanley,
Manager, Gold Market Analysis of the World Gold Council.

He has been spending considerable time the last couple of weeks
to mobilize support in Congress against the IMF sale of gold
as proposed by President Clinton.

What is important to note is that President Clinton does not
have the power to vote the U.S. position on the IMF. Congress must
approve such a vote. And the U.S. has what amounts to virtually a
veto power at the IMF, Mr. Milling-Stanley has focused his efforts on
Congress to stop this sale.
... he was quite optimistic
that Congress would disallow the IMF sale. Support for resisting the
give away of gold was coming from both Democrats and Republicans.
...You can learn more about all this by reading Mr.
Milling-Stanley's testimony before Congress. It is available at the
World Gold Council's web page which is www.gold.org.

... we may be near a bottom. That being true, the present time may be an
excellent time to buy quality gold mining shares at bargain basement prices.
