Techno Musings - RealPlayer & MediaPlayer Plug-in by Ampex

BAM,

There have been some suggestions that Ampex has technology that would greatly improve video clarity transmissions over the internet and that this plug-in could be added to the RealPlayer or MediaPlayer produced by the Real Network and MicroSoft. The example referred to is that of the Dolby Noise Reduction system used by many stereos and radios.

What a kick it would be to see the Ampex logo for such a similar technology affixed to the RealPlayer and MediaPlayer. Just think of the royalties and visibility that would be associated with such a development.

Get ready for "The Second Coming" of Ampex!
