Yes, some "donkeys" have all the luck!

I don't pretend to "understand" the Tech sector, but at least I know it better than I would if I was investing all over the place. The worst people for understanding it, IMO, are engineers. You see the result of their wrong-headedness on these boards all the time. They get fascinated with new technology, and are "Dilberts" on Marketing. The SI board has really been help.

Plus, Tech is the sector with the fastest growth. When you pick in other areas, you have to choose maybe one company out of a sector, but not in tech.

When I started out it became obvious in a hurry, that all the major growth was tech, and was going to stay there. Since I like it and enjoy it, it was easy to specialize in.
