Educator, I would agree this is unsettling, but on the other hand, it also sounds exactly like my typical experience with internet service providers a few years ago when they were adding new subscribers faster than they can could keep up. Servers were always going down or some other technical problem, employees were frazzled, customers were frazzled, employees got hired away, expenses going through the roof; total crisis management. Seemed like staff had to choose between fixing probelms or answering phones, but gradually things improved.

Wonder how management would respond to this at the shareholders meeting, assuming it's held.

Ed, I believe @Home only has 1 investor's rep and she has to handle 10,000 calls a day due to ATHM's increasing popularity. If you have gone to their HQ, you'll see they only have 1 building and only employ about 300 in the HQ, the rest are field people scattered everywhere in the country. I am not surprised to hear of your experience, normal to a small company with huge popularity growth.
