There is an interesting article on WSJ today. Bill Gates, Steve Case and Paul Allen all had conversations with Comcast's CEO and AT&T's CEO over the weekend. There is no indication that Comcast will get help from these three.

This was my point. It doesn't matter much as to the avenues or twists that these headlines take. ATHM is in a position to benefit from some or all of these scenarios, so why worry. ATHM is in a very unique situation. They walked into this sector (which just happens to be the hottest sector to come along since the net started) just at the right time in history. It reminds me of MSFT. There is no logical reason why MSFT should be so huge! They just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Yes, I know it is not just that simple, but in essence that is why they made it so big or they might have been just another software company. ATHM too, is in the right place at the right time. Any company getting into this technology will go to them first and foremost because they are the standard. Just like they had to do with MSFT way back when. ATHM couldn't stop growth if they wanted to. They walked into this one and now will be forced to become a dominant world force in this arena. I guess things could be worse..LOL Ron Dior
