Dave, I know about ECW, but I have never seen it. It is not televised here and it didn't exist when I was doing my thing in Philadelphia. I guess when you are on television, there is no way to hide it from your parents. <g> I was never on the tv crew and my folks wouldn't see it, anyway, living in California. I never did tell them where I got my walkin' around money. I had a job with an Econometrics outfit for about 2 weeks, until the U. mentioned that part of my salary would be used to reduce my fellowship. Oh, yeah, I want to do boring work for free. <g> That is when I donned the tights. One of my cousins had a similar experience when he was at UCLA. He boxed pro prelims, but never told his Mother. Every time he gives me a hard time, I threaten to tell his Mom, and even 30 years later, that scares him. <g>
