Irony indeed, Slider.

If I might make one criticism/comment, while some of the individual stocks you own currently and are position trading may well outperform in the short haul, I think that you are a little quick to dismiss the larger cap OS stocks in favor of smaller companies. If the tide is going to drop during a correction, I believe the little companies will sell off harder then the larger caps.

Those of us who have followed the sector over the past few years did very well keeping our eyes on the horizon and investing with the distant future in mind. I don't think this strategy should be adjusted today. Maybe I'm too bullish, maybe not, but I keep looking out at that horizon and I'm seeing "recovery". That's why I think that you might be caught with a substantial portion of your investment on the sidelines at the wrong time. Hopefully, your trading skills and strategy will help you be in the right place at the right time.

Good luck,
Michael

Slider you bring a lot to the board

You also bring a helluva lot of confusion by your post mortem, recognitive dissonant reasoning. (You often rewrite the story, after the event.)

The most recent example was your prediction of a significant correction in the OSX immediately following the OPEC meetings. You admitted the "wrong" call, but, later according to your reasoning have managed to profit from all these moves. It just ain't so, and it is easily proven from your past posts.

I will not argue with you because there are innumerable contradictions available in your own words. Your personal assaults on those who are in disagreement by belittleing their intelligence does not add to your credibility nor to this message board. Ain't this FUN?

Slider, love your stuff and hope you keep posting. I took your advice this morning and got out of FSESX, which I had bought in early March and late December at the absolute bottom. I definitely want to get back in at some point, hope to hear your opinion about when its time to do that. Either way, I've booked a nice profit so far and I can't complain about that. Take care.

Slider, without wanting to sound like a Hallmark card ...

Your comments have been invaluable to me. Helped me trade profitably (very profitably) in the patch and more important given me some insight so I can evaluate this sector on my own in the future... hope you don't leave the board.
