Again..I am sticking to my theory that as Japan starts recovering..gold will start really moving..I don't think we are as far off as you say
I have't read any figures about the amount of production coming on line..but again I think most things are irrational..unless one is a long term investor in a company..
I see it more as a coiled spring..the less exploration..the later the rational for much higher prices..

If the IMF sales occur they will most likely be by auction and If the past is any guide the sales will be oversubscribed and the price will start to rise therafter - as it will allow other central banks to position themselves and will maybe provide gold for borrowers to pay back their gold in kind. The IMF sales and Swiss sales are now discounted in the POG - so what else can it be hit with? May be a bit shaky while these Washington meetings are going on. d
