"Spectrum will announce that it will design..." At least this was only a reporter for EE Times just talking to someone from Spectrum and not a full blown press release from Spectrum. Actually, it looks like Spectrum is getting ready to announce (in a PR Release?) that it is going to design something. I thought that the "new" soft spoken Spectrum was trying to avoid this sort of excessive hype far in advance of actually having product to sell. I hope we are not treated to another PR Release saying that Spectrum is going to design something...Anyway, tomorrow morning's conference call ought to be interesting. (Maybe that'll be where they announce that they are going to design something...)
