thank you lee:<dsl> i am right now enjoying my inspiron, near chicago, but the line is slow, and I may have to be here alot. I will figure out how to port dsl into the inspiron--I'm sure it has more than enough ways to do that. I envy your talent with downloading into arrays etc.--what are your rates???? I bet you are enjoying the spring gardens!!

Since you seem to know about ADSL service, I hope you can help me
out. The service works fine with my windows95. With windows98 I am
having lots of problems. The service person tells me it is a known
problem with windows 98. (what happens is windows98 only accepts a
specific IP address. It won't accept anything else. Since IP addresses
are assigned automatically, I don't get this address every time and
then the connection doesn't work.)Have you heard about this problem
with windows98 or is my telephone company taking the easy way out
blaming it on windows?

thanks
