Your point about internet being used to fight wars is timely and relevent. This has already happened during the beginning of the Kosovo ordeal. Nato websites were cracked. This was reported in the news and I can't say much more than what was reported and that we are addressing other possible issues in the military regarding website security, e-mail etc.

Imagine the world chaos that could be created with ease. Just a few weeks ago, a false story was released about a bogus buyout that propelled a stock up by a ridiculous amount. Now imagine the chaos that would be created if numerous false news releases were unleashed or worse yet, quote data were interupted and changed. What would be your reaction if suddenly you saw the DOW falling quickly and the TICK, TRIN, TYX etc responding as expected in a falling market? Now imagine it wasn't really happening except for those getting their quote feed from that source while at the actual exchange, things were chugging along like normal until all the panic sell orders started hitting. Scary.

I was having power outages so I am just now rebooting, logging in and starting to catch up on what happened etc. Unfortunarly I also missed the good window for getting my data for my charts and am competing with the west coast for server time for my downloads. I hopefully will get my charts updated this century sometime.

Good Luck,

Lee
