Say BB, do you have any stats on that? As I understand it the Service back charges you the transaction fee, like merchants outside of North America and Europe, typically do.

I remember the first time that little situation was presented to me. I was diving and staying at this place in Honduras and we racked up a bill of about 1500 bucks. On check out I gave 'em my Visa and got the news that they would add 3%. What! I only had about 1500 left in cash and we weren't done with vacation. They told me I could pay with a personal check, which I did. Unbelievable, guess they never heard of bad debts and deadbeats. -g-
