Up to 213......What else is up?

I have made a lot of my money over the last decade in Intel, Microsoft, and Cisco, and I wish I had a dollar for every person who has posted on these about how they sold out to early on these companies.

Those of you who are in at 50 to 100 must be real tempted to jump, but, hey, buy that new Jag on credit and leave your bucks in Q!

I expect to see this stock at the equivalent 0f 1500 in a 3 to 5 year time frame. The earnings are going to support it, along with a PE in the 80 to 100 range, at least.

Sure, we will have downturns, and the overseas market will cause some slides, but, we are "going to the Moon!"

I haven't found any direct news concerning QCOM, just peripheral stories. Investors are putting two and two together and are finally seeing the light that the family Q has seen for years.

Lots of things. Looks like a fairly slow day everywhere else. IBM is up too. So maybe the quality quarterly reports are getting rewarded for no more news.
I know from other boards that some people were talking covering their shorts at 200.
There is still the split to come. I think demand for this stock is building in institutions. Lots of reasons for the stock to rise.
The article in WSJ about 1 billion handsets by 2004 probably helped as well. See my earlier post.
Maybe people think this is an internet play with real earnings to back up speculation. Now that would be a twist!!
