<< But Blair sees it as the first Reich of the West. >>

You can play word games all you want. Perhaps you think that it will make you feel better about the "ethnic cleansing" going on in Kosovo. Perhaps it helps you to look the other way. I don't know your motivations.

The atrocities being carried out against the innocent men, women and children of Kosovo speak for themselves. They speak of the brutality and racial hatred of the Serbian Military police.

Kosovo Albanian homes and villages are being burned to the ground. Women and children are being raped and murdered by your Serb friends.

The NATO freedom fighters are trying to save the Kosovo Albanians. NATO countries will only benefit from trying to save the Kosovos by creating a climate of peace in the area thru the destruction of Slob Milosevic's war machine. It is costing billions for this mission of peace and mercy.

Your disingenuous comparison of NATO's mission to the "First Reich" harms whatever credibility you thought that you might have.

The original NATO treat provided for the use of military force only in the event of an "armed attack" upon a NATO member "to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area".

Last year's Senate resolution on NATO expansion approved "other missions when there is a clear consensus among it's members that there is a threat to the security and interests of NATO members".

Clearly Kosovo involvement is debateable if we are there because of the new resolution. This quick, destructive bombing campaign has potentially caused greater unrest in the neigboring countries.
