Ah, because you don't believe in magic. And magic is what this market is about. Believe and you'll be rich.

You see, the stock price reflects not earnings or operations, but management, which will invest money in other unnamed companies, and *these* will make a fortune. It will in particular invest in NY's "Silicon Alley" which has a serious shortage of success stories, but that doesn't matter, because the appetite of the market for internet faery dust is unlimited. Oh, and among its other acquisitions, RRRR owns shares of an IP telephone company, which despite being a negligable player will get a "percentage of costs" which is mysterious, and therefore also very smart.

So don't worry, just invest. If you are nervous, chant things like "synergy!" and "IP telephony is the future" (well, maybe, it's been the future for awhile now) and "acquisitions!".

See? 20 is nothing, soon a 100, and then a split... just try to feel it...

In the stock market, holding hands and trying to levitate the moon really works....
