I thought all along that IBM was one of the very best positioned to benefit from the internet.... primarily because of its blue chip entrenched customer based.

When IBM was selling for $170, I posted a reference to an article
Message 8983287
here where a top internet magazine ranked all internet companies by who would benefit most from the internet and IBM ranked 3rd overall. I think that the article is valuable information for all those interested in IBM stock.

I believe that IBM will begin to see an increase in its very modest by comparison p/e ratio to reflect its status as one of the hottest internet stocks and the price will REALLY take off.

There is also the point that practically everyone who ever bought IBM is now in a profitable position. There is no overhead supply. There is nobody out there saying "If it ever gets back up to where I bought it, I'm going to sell." There is only a reservoir of short sellers in loss positions who have to buy at some point to close their positions. There is also support out there from those who watched it go up without buying saying to themselves "If it ever gets back down to where I wanted to buy it and didn't, I will buy."

My fellow shareholders, load up, we are in for a wonderful ride.
