I use that setup at work, no problem at all. Don't be offended, but have you set up the proxy correctly in the utilities menu ??

Hmm. I use IQChart on NT 4 and haven't had a problem with connections. I doubt that either factor makes a difference, but I'll mention two things: I installed the Sun-compliant Java VM for IE 4 which is also installed with IE 5. I also have Netscape 4 installed on the machine.

I have a DSL connection with a static IP address and don't go through a proxy.
