MM's working deals with big block traders...guaranteed profits for both......in other words it's not over until they say so.

This may sound crazy but hear me out.
I am seeing so many 50k and 100k blocks being bought
on Fore that I can't count them all.
I wonder if GEC is buying them on the open market at
a reduced price.
Fu***** mm's
dawg

IT doesn't go closer to $35 because of RISK!!!
The deal could still fall through for a myriad of reasons, though all of them slim and none. Even if it was a 100% sure thing instead of 99 44/100% there's time involved. Someone posted a Bloomberg story saying the deal will go through in June, that's minumum 5 weeks, max 9 until you get the extra $1.50. That's a $1.50 on $33.50 4.48%, for a month and a half. It works out real well compared to what the banks paying, but in this day and age few people have the patience for the arbitrage game, they'd rather make 10% on whatever internut is cooking today.
If anything i'm surprised the gap is so tiny, arbs. have been wider lately. I'd still like someone to tell me why you can make 15% on arbing PLAT over about the same time frame, 20% if you bought last Monday on a dip.

Why sell FORE? because you see other better opportunities, and it's still 5-6 weeks til the deal closes.

Why buy/hold FORE - cuz it's money in the bank. The big guys arbitrage - it's an almost sure 1 1/2 pt gain from where it is now in about 6 weeks - this equals about a 38% annualized return!

It's all a question of perspective and alternative investments. right?

FORE has traded over 23 million shares right now - it's undergoing a tug-of-war between the 2 camps (buy/sell now) I think it will soon creep up and hold closer to the purchase price - it IS an all cash deal!
