Hi Charles - Did you ever find out if Charles Schwab's problems were with any of their Sun equipment? Schwab's performance today is just unacceptable. If Sunw wanted to really gain all of Schwab's Internet business, they should offer another one of those cluster servers as back up and provide full time consulting services and guarantee 99% online up-time.

Sunw should offer full service support with both hardware and manpower...even be able to offer a mirror site. Of course the customer would have to pay the big dollars for this type of guarantee, but for those mission critical service organizations it would be well worth it.

This type of "mission critical" service guarantee would not only be very profitable for Sunw but add to the credibility of their software & hardware Enterprise systems.

EKS

Future penetration into UNIX server market requires scalability; which will eventually happen.
