My point exactly, in the end, the bubbles always pop. What is funny is that as economists, we are supposed to understand that foregoing of current gratification for a better future is a basic principle. Our FED/AG seem to have forgotten / ignored this important lesson and my feeling is we are all going to pay for it - whether we foresaw it or not.

The time for restraint is when times are good. The time to dip into savings is when times are tough. Unfortunately, after 15 years of good times, we have record bankruptcies and record debts. Not usually a good thing if the economy hickups. (jmho)
