Chris, when responding to Barry I find it important to remember that his brain only scans every other word, after which, he pulls out his modified Dilbert phrase generator and concocts a completely illogical response. As a result I limit the time I waste responding to him to no more than a couple of lines ;)

<< ... is this the U.S.'s fight? I say no >>

I say "yes", that this is NATO's fight.

<< we have no role there >>

As part of NATO we are committed to the safety of NATO countries. Our role is to prevent Slob Milosevic from spreading his war throughout the Balkans and into Europe. He is a crazy, greedy, sadistic dictator.

Our other role is to totally destroy Slob Milosevic's ability to make war. I pray that the hostilities continue until this objective is obtained.

<< we have no right to be there, our intervention is illegal ... >>

Apparently it is legal according to NATO. After the conflict we can sort out the legalities and issue citations where warranted.

<< nobody elected us the world's policemen. >>

We are not the world's policemen. We are a member of NATO. This conflict threatens almost every NATO country.

<< I think the people of Yugoslavia need to deal with their own problems. >>

This is the difference between you and I. You can look the other way while innocent families are raped, murdered and brutally victimized. I can't. It all depends upon what kind of a world you want to live in. If you don't want to lift a finger, or spend a precious dollar out of your savings account, to attempt to save families from Ethnic CLeansing, it speaks well of your soul.

<< Thus, we totally ignore what Kosovans did to Serbs >>

"We" don't totally ignore the history of that region. You want to accept the boundaries of Yugoslavia that was forced on the people by the communists, as legal. You also totally ignore Slob Milosevic's vicious campaign against non-Serb populations of Yugoslavia over the past 10 years. Slob Milosevic has brought a lot of misery to all peoples of Yugoslavia.

Taking into consideration all sins of all sides, nothing, NOTHING justifies the Ethnic Cleansing of the Serb Military police in Kosovo. They are depraved criminals and need to be stopped and destroyed.

More to come..........

<< is this bombing going to solve the problems? Not a chance. >>

I disagree. It will not solve all problems, but I really feel that continuous bombing over the next few months, or more, can really destroy Serbia's industrial base and infrastructure and set back Slob Milosevic's war machine for decades.

<< So far, they have strengthened, not weakened, Milosovic. >>

That's hard to say. Slob, and Dog Face, his wife, would have to come out from their hiding places under the bed, before we could find out how strong they seem.

<< They have turned the people of Yugoslavia from Western allies ... >>

I will predict that Yugoslavia will become a friendly nation of the West. The people will appreciate what NATO is doing, and will do for them, after they are freed from dictator Milosevic's tyrany.

<< Can farmers plant crops without gas to run their tractors? Can people get food if ... >>

These are only temporary problems. Things will be much better after the Milosevic regime is gone.

In summary, I feel that "Christian" NATO coming to the rescue of "Muslim" Kosovo, for the sake of decency and humanity is great. This is a great way to start the Millennium! Let's hope that NATO never loses the resolve to help those that are going to be victims of genocide.
