Bell Boy....thanks for the info on Newbridge.

At this point, I don't think we have enough evidence of any structure between Siemens and Newbridge in the future. They are indeed strategic partners and that implies a certain mutual importance. If Newbridge becomes a target for takeover and Siemens desires to play the White Knight role, they are more than capable of doing so.

As far as FNTN is concerned, I think it would be a giant leap to say that FNTN is dependent in any way on the Newbridge/Siemens alliance being in place or possessing any certain characteristics. Siemens sells its telecom hardware to and through many channels. I don't see this changing anything in that regard. FNTN appears to be the multi-pronged provider I had imagined. They might well be involved in almost any facet of the telecom area before long. Siemens relationship with FNTN is in place and encompasses many Siemens divisions. I repeat that Alan Spar told me he is in near constant communication with those divisions meaning almost daily. If Newbridge figures into that picture, I would think that Siemens stands ready to support that link at any level.

Any other opinions?
